Parent Voices is a parent-run, parent-led grassroots organization committed to strengthening the capacity of parents to effectively advocate for their child care concerns. It combines leadership development, advocacy and community organizing in its efforts to increase funding, improve quality, and provide better access to child care.

A project of the California Child Care Resource and Referral Network, Parent Voices is hosted by Child Care Resource and Referral agencies. Currently there are three chapters hosted by Children's Council of San Francisco, BANANAS in Oakland, and the Contra Costa Child Care Council in Concord, California.

Parent Voices accomplishes its goals through trainings, regular meetings, special events, media, and participation in the political process. Parents have testified before legislative committees, helped draft legislation, organized candidate forums, registered voters, and encouraged scores of other parents to become active in Parent Voices.
